# Email deliverability

This page publishes the **measured** delivery rate of the emails Bastide sends (authentication emails, see [Emails](emails.md)) to the main email providers. Figures are published as measured, including when they fall short of the target.

## Results of the 2026-10-18 measurement

| Provider | Emails | Delivery rate (inbox) | Accepted (inbox or spam) | Gap to threshold |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Gmail | 50 | 100 % | 100 % | +1 pts |
| GMX | 50 | 100 % | 100 % | +1 pts |
| Yahoo | 50 | 68 % | 100 % | −31 pts |
| Outlook | 50 | 44 % | 100 % | −55 pts |
| Orange | – | not measured | not measured | – |
| **All measured providers** | 200 | 78 % | 100 % | −21 pts |

The **delivery rate** is the share of emails that reached the inbox. The target is 99%. **Gap observed**: Yahoo, Outlook and the overall rate are below target. No send failed at the relay (200 emails accepted out of 200): the gap comes from the provider filing emails as spam, not from losses.

## Method

- Campaign CT-DATA-065 on 2026-10-18, relay Scaleway TEM, 50 emails per test mailbox, spread over time.
- Two kinds of email in turn, with no link or token, sent through the same path as real emails.
- Each email is counted by hand in the mailbox: inbox, spam, or nowhere.
- The overall rate adds up the measured providers, unweighted.

## Still to measure

Orange is not measured yet: there is no figure for this provider and it is not part of the overall rate. It will be added to this page once its test mailbox exists.
