Bastide guide
This guide is published in French and English, together with the product: every page exists in both languages, under the same file name. It is written to be followed by a person or by an agent, with no document other than the ones it cites.
The complete journey takes three pages, to read in order:
- Create a project: connect your agent, then create a project, its database and its first deployment in one call.
- Deploy: build a branch, follow the task, read the build log.
- Restore: return to the previous release without rebuilding, undo the operation, or bring a project back from the trash.
References
The reference is generated from the operation registry: it cannot drift from the product.
- API reference: reference/en/api.md (French: reference/api.md).
- Command-line reference: reference/en/command-line.md (French: reference/ligne-de-commande.md).
- MCP reference: reference/en/mcp.md (French: reference/mcp.md).
- Schemas for agents: mcp-tools.json (the MCP tool catalogue, with the JSON schema of every entry) and openapi.json (the OpenAPI document of the HTTP API).
The agent-readable list is llms.txt, at the root of the site.
Conventions
- A single API version in the path:
/v1. The API address ishttps://api.bastide.fr. - An MCP tool carries the name of its operation, with underscores in place of dots:
deployment.createbecomesdeployment_create. - Every write accepts an idempotency key: replayed with the same key, it returns the first response with no new effect.
- A secret is never read back: it is returned once, when it is created.
